It hosts the largest terrestrial mammal migration in the world, which helps secure it as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa.
Mont Saint-Michel, Normandy, France
The Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy, France is the real-life inspiration of the home of Tangled, Rapunzel’s parents. The film actually adds more homes around the castle or to an island that is actually inhabited only by 40 people in real life. Visitors can walk to the real one at low tide and take the bridge at high tide.
