The Chateau Du Chambrod in France is said to be the inspiration for Beast’s castle in Beauty and the Beast. It was built in 1547 by King Francis I as a hunting lodge. A lot of people have said that the building’s odd roof looks like the skyline of a city or town than that of a castle.
