Colors are the smiles of nature as they say but have you ever thought how different the world would be without colors? Can you imagine without them? Well, probably not! American heroine Helen Keller could not see colors, yet she did not stop investigating and exploring the world as she knew it. There are so many things we would not be able to experience if there were no colors. Without colors, we would not know the existence of color then and also the existence of color blindness. They simply make our lives more interesting and diverse.
Color Blindness is a color vision deficiency where one has the inability to see color or perceive color differences under normal lighting conditions. Being color blind can be very tricky when you try to match your shirt and pants before going to work or out for parties but no big deal. People who are color blind can do normal stuff like driving or even cooking, it’s just that they can’t tell the difference between red or green but they can learn to respond to the way the traffic signal lights up. Red is generally on top and green on the bottom.
The video below shows a man with color blindness opening his birthday present from his family. It was a gift that clearly changed his life that got him so emotional and overwhelmed. It was an Enchroma glasses that allow those people who are color blind to see and enjoy the different colors the world has to offer. Another thing that really got me about this video is when his wife told him to look at the color of his own children’s eyes. He looked at them like it was the most beautiful thing he has ever seen in his entire life. This is really a very beautiful, touching and worth watching video!
