One of the major causes of obesity is soda. If you really want to lose weight, giving up your soda consumption is probably one of the best beginning moves and within just a few weeks you will see the difference. Sodas are high in calories and have no nutritional value whatsoever. Not only do they contribute to obesity, they also contribute to diabetes, tooth decay, stain your teeth and weakened bones. Two cans or glasses of soda per day add approximately 24-35 pounds of fat per year. Some people reported that giving up two cans of soda per day without exercise they lost 20 pounds in six months.
