Spring-Heeled Jack

The first claimed sighting of Spring-Heeled Jack was in 1837 and later sightings were reported all over Great Britain and were especially prevalent in suburban London, the Midlands and Scotlands. This urban legend is known of his bizarre appearance and ability to make extraordinary heaps. His physical appearance claimed to be very terrifying with diabolical physiognomy, clawed hands and red eyes. One report claimed that beneath a black cloak, he wore a helmet and a tight fitting white garment like an oilskin. He has a devil-like aspect and was tall and thin with the appearance of a gentleman. The last sighting of Jack was in 2012 when a family saw a dark figure with no features run across the road before climbing a 15ft bank in a matter of seconds.
