What people seem to think is that if you’re on a diet, you can’t have any sweet or fatty foods. More often than not, this is the main reason why crash diets or people who deprive themselves of eating foods they like, fail at their attempt of losing weight. Taking away food that you like will only lead you to crave for them and eventually you’ll find yourself overindulging when you finally give in. It’s okay to cheat once in a while, just make sure that you are eating in small to normal sized portions. You’ll be able to satisfy your cravings as well as increase the probability that you won’t easily give up on your diet.
