8 Tips to a Cozy Home Office

7. Think storage.

Nobody likes to see a much disorganized room. A cluttered office desk is not a good sight and would probably make you feel unmotivated to work. Storage plays a vital role in setting up your home office. If you have a lot of paper works, invest on table trays that would help in sorting out those documents that are needed to be done urgently from those that can wait. Pick shelves that have doors or covers, especially if you are not a big fan of dusting every now and then. Also, have a trash bin nearby. Toss out things that you no longer need and keep mess away.

8. Music therapy.

Do you have a work anthem? Crank that mp3 player up and get energized just before you dive in to your emails. Some people work best with classical music playing, some with jazz. Whatever your music preference is, have it in playing while you deal with your tasks at hand. It will help your mind relax and improve concentration. However, if you are the silent type, think of ways to lessen the noise around you.
