VICTORIA FALLS
Victoria Falls or the indigenous name, “Mosi-oa-Tunya” which means, the Smoke that Thunders” is located between the two borders, Zimbabwe and Zambia in South Africa. It is called the world’s largest sheet of falling water with a height of 108 meters (354 ft) and width of 1,708 meters (5,604 ft). It was believed that David Livingstone, the Scottish missionary and explorer had the first view of the falls, so he named it in honor of Queen Victoria.
