ANGEL FALLS
Angel Falls, in Pemon language, Kerepakupai Vená means “waterfall of the deepest place” or Parakupá Vená, “the fall from the highest point” is located in Venezuela. It has a height of 979m (3,212ft) and a plunge of 807m (2,648ft) which became the world’s highest uninterrupted waterfall. It was named after Jimmie Angel, a US aviator, who first flew over the falls during the mid-20th century.
