The Poveglia Island Asylum or The Island of Madness- Venice, Italy
The island has attracted nothing but the worse fate with hundreds of thousands of people suffering torturous deaths. Entry to the place today is strictly forbidden and the only visits are made is to harvest vineyards. Even the fishermen are scared to set foot on the water surrounding the island for fear of catching human bones instead of fish.
