15. Ubaid Lizard Artifact
These artifacts were discovered during the start of the 20th century in 1922 in Iraq. These were believed to be 7,000 years old and primarily appeared like human beings though seemed like lizards especially their heads. They are interpreted as a sign of power and authority. Generally, they represented Ubaidian people who lived in Mesopotamian age which is 5,500-4000 BC.
