20 Lost Treasures No One Can Find

The Missing Faberge Eggs

The Faberge Eggs are jeweled eggs created by Peter Carl Faberge and his company between 1885 and 1917. They were made for the Russian Tsars Alexander III and Nicholas II as their gifts for their wives and mothers. The house of Faberge made 50 eggs but only 43 eggs survived so 8 of these eggs were lost with a value of 150 million dollars. In 2007, a single egg was sold for 8.9 million dollars.
