The Amber Room

The Amber room is a complete chamber decoration of pure amber panels receded with gold leafs and mirrors placed within the Catherine Palace of Tsarskoye Selo close to Saint Petersburg. It was created in 18th century and the room disappeared during World War II. It is believed to be destroyed during the bombing but some believed that it was shipped out of the city to be hidden along with the other treasures acquired by the Nazi regime. It is considered one of the world’s greatest lost treasure. It is valued at 170 million dollars.

Atomic Bomb Maps

The Atomic Bomb Maps are a set of very important maps that went missing from the National Archives. The two pieces of paper dated June 1945 that was created by the Army Air Corps to plan a coordinate bombing attack on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. These missing artifacts are a reminder of a dark time that happened in the world history. Nobody knows when and who stole the missing maps but also the audio recordings from the archives were also being stolen by a former employee who had plan to sell them on Ebay.
