20 Lost Treasures No One Can Find

Patiala Necklace

The Patiala Necklace has a rare beauty, designed by the house of Cartier in 1928. This is a gift to the Maharaja Sir Bhupinder Singh with five rows of platinum chains decorated with 2,930 diamonds. It was encrusted with Burmese rubies among the other jewels. The centerpiece was the seventh largest diamond, roughly the size of a golf ball. The necklace disappeared in 1948 and the last person known to wear was his son Maharaja Yadavindra Singh. If it’s going to be sold today, it would probably worth 20-30 million dollars.
