The Ohio Space Connection
In 1903, the Wright brothers demonstrated the first functioning airplane and both gentlemen are from Ohio. The first American to ever step in space was John Glenn who is from Ohio. Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon and he was from Ohio. In fact, a total of 25 astronauts have come from Ohio.
